This website is managed by GILT AS. GILT AS (hereinafter referred to as GILT or we or our) is a company registered in Norway in the Brønnøysund Register Centre with organisation number: NO 918 679 693 MVA.

In our Privacy Policy, when we refer to “Users”, we mean everyone who uses and visits our sites.

When you use our website we collect, use and process personal data if you have chosen to opt-in to cookies or signed up for our newsletter and/or events or similar. We strive to protect this data. GILT is the “controller” concerning the processing of your personal information under this Privacy Policy. This means we are responsible for defining the purposes for processing your personal data and also for compliance with the data protection legislation.

All personal information saved at the site will be handled with the utmost care. The information we store will not be sold or used for any purposes other than to ensure the best service and experience. It will solely be used for informing you about our work, new music and other marketing opportunities related to the different divisions of GILT. 

When registering with the site, you have the option not to receive any information from GILT. If you wish to end your GILT subscription, you may make the changes by unsubscribing the email list, or send an email to info@gilt.no. State your name and email address and a short description of the matter in the email message.

HOW GILT USE THE COLLECTED INFORMATION
If you give us your personal information, GILT will use this information to keep you informed of new music releases, to share news, to register you with our website, and/or to administer our website services. Otherwise, we may use the information you provide to us only to review our performance and to improve our services to you. We will send you announcements or communications by email only if you give us your permission to do so by either giving your email address in our online channels. GILT stores your email address in a form provided by the third party service Google Drive.

SHARING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
GILT does not sell, rent or disclose our users names, addresses, email addresses or other personal information to any GILT entity. Your personal data may be disclosed to third parties only when it is necessary to fulfil the purposes described above. Further, in order to maintain our website, to manage our database, to distribute emails and to provide communications, GILT contracts with selected third parties. As necessary, the personal information you provide to us may be processed by these third parties, solely on GILT's behalf but we do not authorise any of these service providers to make any other use of your information. We do not otherwise disclose your information to third parties, unless we are required to do so by law or in connection with a legal claim or proceeding. If GILT is acquired by another entity or is merged or consolidated, information about GILT users may be made available to the new entity. SIGNING UP TO OUR NEWSLETTER
If you are registered with GILT on our website and would like us to remove you from our newsletter list, please make the changes by unsubscribing the email list. We keep your personal information for a maximum of 2 years when you sign up at GILT.no to receive newsletters.
